• Recently, The Atlantic published a fascinating article about the effects of smartphones on minors. If you ignore the clickbait title, it’s worth a read.
• Although it didn’t make the final draft of the article, I do not think that social media/the internet are entirely to blame for political polarization. The deregulation of communication companies, abolishing the Fairness Doctrine, and the advent of cables news channels and right-wing talk radio were major factors as well.
