In Post Notes, I add some additional thoughts or context to a blog post I’ve previously written. The original post can be found here.

• I didn’t quite find a place for this in the article, but Uber Pool is also bad.

• Friend of the blog Ms. P suggested “Uber and Airbnb get away with murder” for the title. It’s a brilliant idea, but I didn’t want people to think that the crux of the article was solely about the safety of Uber.
• The legitimate safety problems with Uber and other rideshare apps are well known,  but I have had a lot of friends use Uber instead of traditional taxi services for safety reasons as well. They like that the trip is being actively tracked by the app, which could be used to prevent abductions.
