In Post Notes, I add some additional thoughts or context to a blog post I’ve previously written. The original post can be found here.

• When I started writing the first post for my blog, I originally wrote a long piece about Hillary Clinton’s triumph over Donald Trump. The article, if I remember correctly, was questioning whether businesspeople had the dominance in politics that many believe. For obvious reasons, this post was not published. (I do not remember if I deleted the original file.)

• I liked the way that “1,234” sounded, but the original writing did not come out to that number. It took a bit of creative editing to get to that number.
• I included three pictures in the post, as opposed to just one, because I wasn’t quite sure that people would want to read such a long block of text. Since then, I’ve gotten a bit lazy.
• Even though it is in the first line of the article, I sometimes forget that Donald J. Trump’s middle name is “John”. I don’t know why but something about it just feels off.
